A tool I’m building to make Miradi easier to use for my coursework—and easier for classmates to pick up.
Moving coursework between worksheets and Miradi projects creates extra formatting and file-handling work. Updating an existing project adds another layer: how do you carry new work across without losing what’s already been done?
Start with the four course assignments and make importing the work easier. The first milestone was getting the Assignment 1 import working.
Create a new project from a worksheet, or update a checked-out Miradi project. The intended result is a guided workflow with less repeated entry and instructions classmates can follow.
Proposed workflow
These are planned paths for the app.
Bring in a worksheet without needing a checked-out file.
Bring in a checked-out file, show existing work, and merge worksheet updates.
Current status / September 17, 2026
Assignment 1 import works. Export formatting and checked-out file handling are still being worked on.
The first import feature is complete.
Use the sample project to check and fix export formatting.
Add the two starting paths, explore merging existing work, and write a how-to for classmates.
