The question: How do you assemble the case for ocean observing without losing the sources, assumptions, and caveats behind each finding?
What I built: A research platform that organizes sources, candidate findings, checked metrics, and approved claim wording into a shared workflow.

The question: Understanding a property means bringing together parcel data, zoning rules, and environmental conditions that live in different places.
What I built: A property-research interface for East Hampton that brings mapped facts and preliminary dimensional limits into a printable snapshot.

Miradi Converter

The question: Entering a conservation plan into Miradi by hand takes a team hundreds of hours, even when the plan already exists in another format.
What I built: A converter that reads an existing management plan and proposes a structured Miradi project for a practitioner to review.

Grape Crush Impact

California’s public agricultural reports arrive as spreadsheets and stop at tons crushed. The idea: turn the Grape Crush Report into a county-level economic and sustainability profile (jobs, income, output, water use) for winegrowers associations and county agricultural offices. Currently researching the source data and drafting the business model.

A conservation project design built in Miradi. Assignment 1 is complete; the remaining assignments build on it, and it is the reason I built Miradi Converter.

OceanObs’29 digital platform

Designing and building the digital information infrastructure for OceanObs’29, the decadal ocean-observing conference, with GitHub as the system of record and Cloudflare as the delivery layer for a fast, maintainable, data-driven public platform.

A proposed permeable-paving redesign to reduce stormwater runoff into Hog Creek, carried through to a funded grant application. Construction did not proceed because of zoning complications.
